Picking a favourite is too tough for me. That's why it's good to have at least one of each.

Semis and O/U for clays.
SxS for upland
Semis for ducks and geese.
Pumps for fun and when things go bump in the night.

Pump action here for waterfowl, saves a few shells as opposed to just pulling the trigger...makes you take an extra second to think about your shot

Winchester SX-1 for most field work. O/U for clays. Pump 20ga for pheasants. The dog isn't that fussy what I use as long as I don't miss to much. He gets ticked when he goes to all the touble of hunting them up and then I miss them.

Love the pump action!
Nothing against semis, SxS, double, O/U but nothing sounds as cool as hearing that pump action!

I grew up being a waterfowler & for that I love a pump action, makes think about your shot a little longer as opposed to just squeezing the trigger on a auto.

I love pumps. Reliable and rugged and fast to make them work. Use them for everything.

But on the other hand autoloaders with pistol grips have a 10x fun factor!
